Today is an era of smartphone. Smartphone can be used as a portable hotspot, so any other device can connect to smartphone portable hotspot and that device can connect to the internet from smartphone. But we can sharing an internet connection with not only using smartphone. We can make our laptop as a portable hotspot, and sharing connection internet from modem to any other device. And then how to make laptop as a portable hotspot? Lets check it out!

STEPS :
Clik start menu > search CMD and then right clik > "Run as administrator"

And then write this command in cmd
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=YourHotspotname key=Yourpassword
you can change the red text with your hotspot name (its up to you) and also your hotspot password. But use a combination alphabet and number (more than 8 character)

And then to turn on your hotspot
Clik start menu > search CMD and then right clik > "Run as administrator"
Write command :
Netsh wlan start hostednetwork

And then to turn off your hotspot
Clik start menu > search CMD and then right clik > "Run as administrator"
Netsh wlan stop hostednetwork
To share your internet connection, at the first time you must connect to the internet using your modem, and then turn on your hotspot.
After that, right click on the connection icon on the taksbar, click open "Network and Sharing Center".

Click name connection in your modem connection (my connection name in this picture is "indosat internet"

Checklist “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection”
And click select a private network connection choose same as connection on your hotspot. In this case my hotspot connection is Wireless connection 2, so i choose Wireless connection 2. And then click ok.

Now the other device can connect to your hotspot with internet connection from your modem.
